Q. Can I return or exchange items?
A. You can request a return within 30 days of receiving the item. To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the same condition as when received, unworn or unused, with tags attached, and in its original packaging.
You will also need a receipt or proof of purchase, so please keep your order confirmation email safe.
Returns or exchanges for the following reasons cannot be accepted.
Q. Can I cancel my order after placing it?
A. If it is before shipping, there may be cases where cancellation is possible. Please contact us immediately after placing your order. We may not be able to accept cancellations if it has already entered the shipping preparation stage or after it has been shipped.
Q. Is the color of the product the same as in the photo?
A. We have taken photographs in colors as close to the actual product as possible, but depending on your monitor or smartphone environment, the actual colors may differ slightly. If you have any concerns, please feel free to contact us before making a purchase.
Q. Can I send it directly to the recipient?
A. Yes.
If you set the delivery address to the gift recipient at the time of ordering, it can be delivered directly.
In the case of a gift, it is also possible not to include an invoice that shows the amount. If you wish, please let us know in the remarks section at the time of ordering.

Q. Is every Kigiku product a one-of-a-kind item?
A. Yes. Kigiku products are made using fabrics such as kimonos and obi, so they are basically one-of-a-kind. Even with the same design, the way the fabric patterns appear and the texture differ, and there are no two exactly the same.
Q. Are there stains or damages on the kimono remake products?
A. The kimonos and obi you are using are made from fabric that has spent a long time. We select the best possible condition parts for production, but due to the nature of the material, there may be small stains, weaving flaws, color irregularities, or fold marks. We hope you can enjoy these as the unique texture of old kimonos.
Q. Can kimono remake products be washed?
A. When caring for it, please use water washing and detergent for delicate clothing, and hand wash only. Also, after washing, we recommend air drying in the shade.
Q. What is pure silk?
A. Pure silk refers to fabric that is 100% silk. It is characterized by its supple and lightweight nature, as well as its elegant sheen. On the other hand, it is also weak against water and friction, so careful handling is recommended.
Q. When I hear that you are using an old kimono, I become concerned about the smell.
A. Before production, we check the condition of the fabric and perform maintenance as necessary. However, depending on the storage conditions and materials of the kimono, you may feel a slight unique texture of old fabric. If you are concerned, please contact us before purchasing.
Q. I'm worried about whether the size will fit.
A. Each product page lists the sizes, so we recommend comparing them with your own clothes. Especially for dresses, please check the width and length. For products with model photos, you can also refer to the model's height.
Q. Isn't kimono fabric difficult to wear as everyday clothing?
A. Kimono fabric is attractive for its lightness, texture, and drape. In particular, silk is supple and conforms easily to the body, allowing for a lighter wear than it appears. At Kigiku, we tailor it into forms that incorporate the beauty of kimono while being easy to wear in everyday life.
Q. Can the same product be resold?
A. Basically, since it is a one-of-a-kind item, we cannot resell exactly the same product.
The finish varies depending on the pattern and condition of the fabric, so even similar designs will have different expressions for each piece.
